Thinking about if I should keep these Viberg Chelsea's or sell them. I like the last and their chunkiness, but the color (and aforementioned chunkiness) limit their versatility.

Just wondering what you find less versatile about these. It seems like they wouldn't go with the KTT / SLP look with super-skinny jeans but wouldn't be too hard to pair outside of that. Seems like lighter-wash denim (or beat-up raw denim) in a straighter cut would be an easy option. Anyway, I like those.

I ended up talking about this with my coworkers and I am sorry to report I am COMPLETELY MISTAKEN - Osaka aunties wear cat prints with a picture of the actual animal on the garment. Pure cat prints (no animal picture) is early GAL style.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Help me choose boots please...

1) JIL

2) RO (Assuming I can find a good deal)

3) Prada

4) dvn.jpg (Dries)

The Dries are what I really want but 1k+ for some pretty average materials and build seems kind of dumb. If they were more like $700 I would buy these without hesitation.

Leaning towards number #1 Jil, but price is still higher than what I'd like (for an extra $200 I could get Dries)

I want some reasonably chunk boots, pref with some kind of lug sole and perf not a chelsea, without going full marsupial. The Army Lows are probably too combat-y now that I think about it.
If anybody has better suggestions, $700 being probably the upper limit, please suggest away.
Or should I just wait for sales?

dries > jil but neither are worth the sticker price. wait for sales and don't sweat the loss if someone else buys them

I don't really think any of them are worth the sticker price though? The only way I really get something that is kind of "worth it" is if I go for traditional boot makers like Viberg or Trickers but none of them appeal to me. I am 100% OK paying for design over quality but at the same time I don't want some **** that will only last a 1-2 seasons.

Get MTO and order some Vass boots. @Fuuma has a nice model I recall. You can change up the sole details if you want extra chunky.
