I really like how the toe box tapers gradually, looks very elegant
glad you like them. very classic style. Actually just a tad too "vanilla" for my tastes, though.

Alfred Sargent Taransay: Mahogany calf + Harris Tweed on the AS87 last. Shipped yesterday from the Shoehealer in the UK & arrived at my door before noon. Fantastic service! Sorry for the poor quality of the pic.

a lot of controversy, at least for me.

imo, fugly buckles + massive heel block... ...last shape is delictate on the other hand.

Is this considered a common amount of creasing after wearing a show ONCE?



Seems excessive to me. The shoe with the perfing has been worn a total of one time compared to the shoe on the left which is new.

I like the buckles and do think the buckles matches the delicate shape of the last. But the heel block could really use some work, it seems off balanced.

One piece monk is an interesting idea and I like it very much. So is the one piece austerity brogue wingtip.
