The SF in SF meetup machine rolls on! This time we are honored by the presence of greatness, SF's very own chorse123! He'll be bringing some Howard Yount fall preview samples to show off as well. UPDATE
Saturday, September 26. Drinks: Paragon (2nd & Townsend), 7-9pm Dinner: Bacar (Brannan & 3rd/4th), 9pm
I made a reservation for 8 people for dinner, with one open spot. Based on the responses so far, I'm counting for dinner: me, chorse123, Parker, emptym, comrade, youngScholar, LabelKing, and ?. If you plan (or don't) to join us for dinner, please let me know so I can alter the reservation. If you just want to join us for drinks, please do, we have the section of Paragon by the patio reserved for us, which can easily hold 15 people or more.

Parker and I are working on an exact time and place, but the day will be next Saturday, September 26. More info to follow in this thread, but if you would like to join us, post here to let us know if you can make it for late afternoon (3-5pm), early evening (5-7pm) or evening (7pm-?). I prefer the evening myself, rolling into a group dinner somewhere.
Awesome! I'll be in Santa Monica that weekend.

Damn! A moral dilemma. My neighbor, whom I see everyday, is having
a 60th birthday party starting at 4:30 PM. I'll try to work something out
by putting in an appearance. If I can make it, the 7PM time is probably best.

I will certainly come if I'm in town. It' my birthday weekend then and I might be in LA or Boston. Not sure yet, but I'll know sooner or later.

I should be there, although I may wear a polo shirt and jeans this time. ASU plays Georgia at 4:30that day so I may join the ASU Bay Area alumni group in watching the game at a bar in North Beach and then head over.

I'll have to be there in spirit instead. I will be in Austin, hopefully inebriated, and enjoying the passing of another year.

I was planing on picking up a nice navy woven tie and one of chorse's new tie bars by proxy, but it will be easier to just order one from him I suppose.

Enjoy all.

Come one, come all. You guys have built up my expectations with your run of get-togethers, so let's see some good turn out. Binge and Parker sound like they've got a fun thing planned.

I'll be bringing a sampling of the HY line. With around 200 in-stock styles/colors of ties, scarves, socks, pocket squares, etc. etc. it's impossible to bring everything, but you should be getting the first look at some great new items.

Yeah, don't everyone post at once!

We're working on plans now. We'll most likely meet up at a wine bar downtown early evening where we'll have some room to meet and greet and have a look at the HY goods, followed by dinner somewhere in the vicinity. Details to come shortly. Exact place might depend on how many "yes-es"we have in the next day or so.

So far we have a yes from chorse, binge, empty (?) and me. and a maybe from Brad, peagk and comrade. Vox will videoconference in.

Feel free to pop in for just drinks too.
