Thanks again to Gus for arranging an other outstanding Meet-Up!
And also thanks to MacGregor and Max for hosting. It was great to
see LK after over a year and I was priviledged to sit with him and
his beautiful friends ( see photo above) along with UC and his charming wife
at the "chiildrens table" .

This was the other Henry in the tweed... Finally made a proper account to thank you all for a lovely evening! It was a perfect time to move to the bay area, it seems.

Thank you Gus,styleforum and Proper Suit for hosting your event here at Firehouse 8. It was inspiring to see so many stylish men in one place. ( a few ladies too! ) I enjoyed the traditional and the ones with more of mix in the choices of fabric and different accessorizing all creating very cohesive looks. We love working with Max and McGregor of Proper Suit and hope to be involved with styleforum again down the line..

Only living 3 hours from SF, I truly regret not making this trip happen. Especially seeing a few thrift thread buddies attend!

Thanks for having us. These things are Gus's brainchildren, and he has to take all the credit and blame in equal part, but I love that this can happen because this community exists.

This was my first StyleForum meet-up (other than the 10th Anniversary, which i couldn't stay at long), and it was great to meet some other members. Thanks to Gus for organizing and MacGregor, Max, and Firehouse 8 for hosting the event!

I wish I had spent more time taking pictures, but as per usual I was too busy grabbing drinks and making friends. Thanks again to the Proper Suit team for hosting such a great event. I had a great time seeing old friends and making some new ones.

Lots of great fabrics to choose from:



There were many well-dressed folks, as would be expected, but I was pretty obsessed with Books and Tweed's Sid Mashburn blazer. I mean, look at it.



And after the event, it didn't take long before we were elbow deep in German food and beer boots.

Kinda brings a whole different meaning to the term "sausage fest."

I went today. Going for a super-light 9oz wool & mohair fresco in a mid grey-blue. Amazing stuff. Wrinkle proof. I wear hot, and all this flannel in San Francisco's indian summer has me sweltering.
