Greetings All,
My other half is making plans for Christmas.. Normally friends and family visit us but this year we are being asked to travel. We will be heading off to to the north of Scotland and Switzerland respectively.
I have an extensive collection of shoes and boots but I'm not sure I want to expose and risk any of them to elements. I don't fancy wearing wellingtons all season long either.
Could you suggest something that is some what formal or dressy in appearance but durable enough to survive the weather and salt that one encounters during the winter. These would be strictly for in and around town for time spent in the country I would obviously switch to more appropriate footwear.
