Does anyone have experience with 228 and 325? How much roomier is the 228?

Beautiful boots! I’m liking the 375 last. How’s the fit compared to the 325?

For my feet, 228 is a tiny bit shorter as 325 but is as wide in the toebox as 325.
Hence, I take the same size in both lasts. I would consider 228 to be on the roomier side of C&J lasts.

Thanks! 325 fits me like a glove but this is my first pair on the 375. Still haven’t had the chance to try them on so I only know what I have read in C&J’s last guide:

LAST 375
DATE OF ORIGIN: JULY 2015
Last 375 is a Main Collection last, with a medium round toe, increased toe depth and slimmed down back part. A last that is directly associated to another, 375 shares its toe shape with 325! A development that has seen us improve upon the heel clipping to produce a closer fitting version of the highly regarded 325. 375 will more than likely become the loafer last counterpart to the 325 story.
  • Most iconic style: Henley 3 in Black Cavalry Calf
  • Developed as a Loafer specific version of 325
  • Best known for exceptional fitting at the heel
RETAIL ADVICE
Fitting advice from retail… Last 375 fits true to size. An enhanced version of last 325, offering a traditionally styled toe shape with a sculpted heel cup for a more secure fit.

Hope to be able to report back in a few days.
