I'm pretty sure you can buy the CD-ROM on the Ask Andy About Moderation site, perhaps even a matching baseball cap or clothes hangers.

"...cycles back around to AAAC"? I don't understand. The Black Suit thread was a Style Forum thread although it has often been alluded to on AAAC.

JLib has spoken for himself but I can tell you I am. If I did let fly with my social and political views in the Interchange I would have long ago been banned at Andyland.

BTW I love cats. I grew up with them.

I am relatively conservative, and even I can recognize that the Interchange is some next level ****.

My cat used to snuggle up to me for hours, purr and look up at me now and then with great affection in her eyes before affectionately burying her snout into me. I was sure she was in love! I miss her a lot.

When I was a student I was much more conservative. I loved to write essays tearing Marx et al to shreds. But as I have aged softening of the brain and early dementia has set in to the point of becoming a raving lefty. I am the same age as Manton.

I was a lib for the first six months I was at Berkeley. After that, those lunatics inadvertently turned me into a reactionary. I am less conservative now than I was then, but not much. Mostly I am more tempermentally moderate.

Leaving aside certain bombastic posts directed at a certain blowhard rabbit.

Before I went to a small, modestly left-wing business school, I went to a small, modestly left-wing Quaker college. I have never before or since felt so conservative.

Of course, when I visited the family summer cottage in one of the more complacent parts of the Midwest, I would feel a little like a Communist.

Is this now Ask Style Forum About Andy?

Despite AAAC being as dull as it reputedly is SF has now become the second forum that spends all its time talking about it.
