I have the Moore in oxblood also from AFPOS. Cherry is too red for my conservative style with suits, but oxblood works perfectly with navy.

The other tree is probably Oak. I have a pair of exclusives in burnished oak as part of a GMTO through AFPOS and SF out of the higher end collection. I think they also ran some shoes in Mahogany.
They had the full brouge Hunt in Mahogny. The GMTO with Moore in Oak also included Moore in Burgundy.

Sad to see the AFPOS thread now locked, always fabulous service and quick delivery. Here are my burgundy Moores from that memorable GMTO, after a quick shine.

Do we know why the thread was locked?

Oh and nice Moores! I just missed out on the last pair of Moore’s they had listed a while back.

@Camerashy - I own both the AS Armfield and CJ Audley and am happy with both. Both are classic, sophisticated and elegant, while I think the Audley is slightly superior in refinement and elegance. The "heavier" option would be CJ Lonsdale which is a bit more roomy (assuming same size), while the CJ Egerton holds the middle ground between Audley and Lonsdale, yet features a U-throat and counter heel, which I personally like a lot. But you cannot go wrong with either of these choices...

Oh yes, keep on forgetting factory direct mail order.

Armfield has swan neck stitching, beveled waist and higher heel. They are all tangible differences to the Audley.

how much are you getting the different brands for? if you are getting a discount on the C&J, that will change things.
