Opinion on size/look of these Persol 649's? too big? (pics inside)

Picked up some Persol 649's 54mm and I cannot decide whether they are too big and I should go with 52's.... thankfully I can return these.

I am leaning toward them being a bit too large and thinking the 52's will fit perfect... they hit my cheeks a bit when I smile, just needed some other opinions.
