Based on those fitting pictures you're right, that is a shooting rig. It explains the pocket choice on the jacket, to hold cartridges, and the breeks.wasn't this jacket part of an English shooting outfit? I wonder if the button placement is for a functional purpose like shouldering a shotgun...I think he notes in his breakdown it is 18.5" from his 'neck point' which is the same measurement indicated on his Rubinacci tweed and Solito summer jacket
definitely agree on the fabric choice and the pattern matching on the sleeves though, can't imagine dropping $8K and then being disappointed and never using it...or even spending that amount at all on something that would be so niche like an English shooting outfit. Makes me wonder what sorta disposable income he has or if he's some sort of distant British aristocrat
That jacket turned out very well. I'm impressed! ?Jacket's all done:
Not bad with jeans either.
I see just a sport coat with the 25020.Totally forgot to post pics but I tried on the first fitting of a three piece in the navy Drapers Ascot 4-ply. That stuff drapes so well despite being just 12oz. Going to bring in the lapels .5cm and drop the lapel 1cm for a bit better balance. For some reason the lapels looked gargantuan compared to the two tweeds from winter despite them measuring the same.
And for summer:

Suits in each...? I love the green/brown but think it would be a bit much as a suit. The petrol linen solaro will be a suit for sure. Thoughts?
