Maybe just order the Tricker's from STP and if you like 'em, you're done.

Apologies for the cross post from the Carmina thread, but I was hoping someone could help me make a decision...
The Tricker's in the US retail for $675 but are available at around half that. The Carmina on the other hand retail for $367 and are available shipped (not inc. import taxes & fees) for $276. Is there a big difference in quality that should make me choose Tricker's over Carmina?

Cheers.

I'd try out the trickers first. Break-in might take a few wears more compared to carmina, but they get amazingly comfortable after that.

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase an MTO pair of boots through Richard at Shoehealer. I haven't heard back from him yet regarding pricing, but what does a pair of MTO shell boots generally run these days? Thanks!

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. Depending on the price Richard quotes for a single MTO, I may be looking at that option instead.

it's pricey for a single MTO. I've already inquired. I believe it was 412 gbp (group) vs 631 gbp (single) in cordovan.

I tried to get a black shell plain toe boot with antique welt/dainite. no takers though.

No problem. What are you looking to buy?

I'm looking to order a pair of navy shell boots - either the Allan model, or something like the parade boot (which as far as I can tell is the makeup previously offered by Superdenim).

Please post a pic as an example. I'd be interested in navy shell boot....
