Was an 8.5 left for a while but I can size up half but not really down. I think they’d look superb on double leather which was my original plan..I was tempted to grab these for the summer..but they've also flown the coop. : (

Also happier in a 9 but figured with the Kudu they'd be ok. Yep and with a double leather they'd be quite beautiful.?Was an 8.5 left for a while but I can size up half but not really down. I think they’d look superb on double leather which was my original plan..
I’ve never had any for the reason you describe. I can wear same size in 2298, 4497s and half down for 4444. Probably be ok as possibly looks narrower than it is.And on that note, I'd love to hear from people about how they sized the 81 Last. I'm one of those odd-footed folks who take +0.2 in the 2298 (7.5 in 4444, 8.0 in 4497, 8,5 in 2298) & worry that the 81 might be too narrow in the toe in an 8
Look familiar....?I go with 9 on 4497, the 9 on 2298 was short, but 9.5 much too roomy.
I wear on 5402 9.5 but also a 10 for cordovan and my latest kudu. Having 5 Ethan on 5402 already, my absolutely favorite flat toe monkey boot.
Now I’m trying a 8.5 on 4444 for my first Bourtons.
Here with my Acorn Ethan from Japan on JR and reverse peanut kudu changed from Morflex Vibram to double leather and welt with white stitching at Tricker’s factory.
Been thinking about picking up a pair of long wings....Anyone have any thoughts about this pair?

The original and still the best. Equally at home in Chelsea and at Cheltenham, Tricker’s hand-made country shoes have been leading the way since before Queen Victoria’s day.www.trickersoutlet.com
Yeah that kills it for me also, then. If I want C&J style I go to them. As you mentioned I love Trickers for their own distinctive shape. I wasn't fully convinced by this one, so your reply kind of helped confirm that. ;-)Hi Spud, I didn't really like the Fultons and returned them - too pointy which for me takes them away from the classic Tricker's shape.
