I bought a pair of 5" Roberts a couple of months ago and have been trying to order a second pair from Nick's. They replied to one email inquiry but haven't replied to any of my follow up emails. I've tried a couple of times now. Anyone else having trouble getting a response out of them? When I was ordering my first pair in May, their communication was just super. Very responsive. Now I just get silence...

This is the reason I dropped them from consideration, not responsive at all. So yeah, I had trouble getting a response but simply dropped them and moved on to a maker who was more responsive.

i would go through Bakers boots in Oregon and just order through them. Kyle is an awesome dude, and he will help you out like he's helped many of us.

Contact Kyle, is your best answer.

Thanks everyone. Gary from Nick's did eventually get back to me and we're working now on my boot order. Next time, I think I will go through Kyle. I just wanted to avoid sending in another fitting sheet given I already did one for Nick's. I'll see this one through with Nick's though. So many of these companies seem utterly unprepared for responsive customer relations...

Any info on sizing the Williams?

On the Brannock, I'm between a 9E and 9.5D. In Red Wing, W1k, Viberg 2030, I'm an 8.5 with thin socks and a 9 with medium-weight socks. In most Allen Edmonds dress shoes I'm a 9. I have a high instep and somewhat narrow heels.

Thanks!

These are actually made by Nicks for Zuriick - details are on their site. The heel was tapered off locally. Great boots, enjoy

just ordered my first nicks today from Kyle.  dark brown horsehide stylish for sure

what's the turnaround time going to be? think i'll be making an order for some boots real soon from baker's, finally. nick's always seem to have better stitching, from what i've seen, but i know white's has the quicker turnaround and i need something pretty soon with the way my current boots' soles are looking. if it's not too bad i'll go with nick's.

those Zuriick boots look pretty nice. i'll be making something similar in a 6", with natural cxl, cuban heel + vibram 700.
