^ Awful game. Defense sucked. Offense didn't turn it over, but couldn't execute near the goal line or on 4th down. At least Gostkowski didn't miss any kicks. Maybe it's for the best to take one on the chin early on, silence the 19-0 clickbait BS, and so forth. The last time we got embarrassed by the Chiefs in September, we won it all.

On to New Orleans.

does any 'merican know why we sing the USA National Anthem before every sport's game? No other country does this at the "non-national" level. Thus, Europeans would sing their anthems at the start of X vs Y (when X/Y = country teams). BUT the idea that Man Utd would sing "God save the Queen" at Old Trafford seems so absolutely absurd that one cannot quite get one's mind around our habit. Just wondrin'

Americans display a high degree of nationalism/patriotism. We also still recite the pledge of allegiance daily in a lot of primary schools.

Tony Romo is wearing what might be the worst outfit of any sports broadcaster ever. Check out Thursday Night Football now.

Tony Dungee looks like an ancient Egyptian high priest.
