i just purchased my first raw denim and went with APC new standards. i have never really had a tight skinny jean (i know new standards aren't really skinny but for me they feel like it). i typically wear a 30 in diesel so i went with the recommendation to size 2 down. i am about 5'8 and weight 140 lbs

i bought them in 28 and had a little trouble buttoning them. i got them on the 11th so its my third day. they have stretched out a little but not much.

i was hoping to see what all of you guys thought on how it looks and if its right on me. i never knew my thighs and arse were so BIG!!!

well will my button fly get all warped and weird the way it is stretching right now?

also the jeans are way too long for me so when is it ok to hem? after my first wash at 6 months?

and in terms of starch where do i spray and do i spray a lot - like soak them in starch or just a little is fine?

THANKS!!!

look good, I dont think you are supposed to do any hemming until after you have washed the denim. I wouldn't hem them anyway.

Looks good, but I think you could have gone down to a 27. My 27 measured 30" in the waistband when I got them.

They will stretch a ton and in a few weeks they will be very comfortable. I had the same concerns on first trying mine, and today I'm glad I didn't go up.

I just got some SEXI04s and cannot button the top 3 buttons, so I'm debating whether to size up one or do some major stretching....
