ps i'd also add that anyone still skeptical of Love needs to watch 10 or more games of his, i suspect you'll end up converted. don't just watch the game, though, focus on him, watch what he does off the ball, watch him get position for rebounding, watch him on D off the ball, watch him set picks, etc.

I don't even know how to explain this, it's no ankle breaking cross-over, maybe neck breaking?

It's Charlotte.

That's because he isn't wearing a Laker jersey.

Oh ****!!!
Clippers, Kenyon Martin agree on a deal

The Clippers and free-agent forward Kenyon Martin have agreed on a mini-midlevel deal that will be finalized as soon as Martin passes a physical, according to an NBA individual familiar with the negotiations.

Martin, who played for the Xinjiang Tigers in China and had been required to wait until their season was over before rejoining the NBA, was cleared to return to the NBA by FIBA, the international basketball federation, Thursday.

Martin is an 11-year NBA veteran who, at 6-foot-9, is expected to bolster the Clippers' inside strength and rebounding performance. He averaged 13.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in his 11 seasons with the New Jersey Nets and Denver Nuggets.

Last season, Martin averaged 8.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in Denver. He is 34.

Martin has a home in Los Angeles and is a friend of Clippers guard Chauncey Billups, a teammate with the Nuggets.

Other teams that had been interested in Martin were the Lakers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks.

not a good move, i think. he's locker room poison, they don't really need him as a backup and i don't see him accepting his role as a backup. they're much better off with butler and griffin. the guy they really need to backup is cp3 ... when he's out, the offense stagnates.

Not sure if cereal!?!?!?

You want another PG with the Clips?

I think Martin can accept his back-up role, dude averaged like 10 ppg in China, not sure what else he is expecting. He averaged 8/6 last year so I think him playing with the second unit and actually score is a good move and that takes Cook out of the rotation (like getting rid of Walton). Plus he is good friends with Billups, chances are he'll be able to calm him down. He's no JR Smith (which the Lakers are considering). I like the move, it's an added enforcer role with Evans from the bench that can score with Mo & Foye. That is a very solid second unit with Gomes.

yeah, the good news is it keeps the lakes from signing him. of course, that might mean they think their only option is Smith. :fu:

Don't forget about Arenas. I read that he got his knees treated by the same doctor and procedure that Kobe got his knees treated with. I read he also lost a lot of weight and have been working out well.

can you imagine agent 0 and metta world peace on the same team? they'd have to have full-time fly-along benchside psychologists. funny piece from one of our writers yesterday.

^The Clips still have to contend with the fact that they're still coached by Del Negro.

Whenever I think of Kenyon Martin I always thing of this.

Dude- it's been at least 10 posts. And my points were valid. I didn't say anything at all about Kobe.

On the one hand I wish the Spurs would have gotten him but the locker room **** is valid IMO. Danny Green is holding his own. Keeping Richard Jefferson on the bench where he belongs.
