Also did you guys see the article about the Washington DC native girl who played for Swiss and had two goals in their Bronze game today? She plays on a beer league team I used to sub for here in the DC area.

i actually posted this before any goal, my internet feed is total ****.
fun game to watch. US def. blew it, and i'm pretty sure they'll be drowning it out tonight. OT started out awesome with great chances on both sides, which is exactly what one could hope for. The penalty fest kind of messed things up (almost 2 minutes of 3 on 3?? WTF??), but so it goes. On the flip side, a handful of people (3 or 4) currently play college hockey for my alma matter, so that's kind of cool.
On to Canada vs. US men's tomorrow. Game should also be a blast.

i'm holding better hope for the men's team. Canada's men's team has been barely making it by, last game was a late 3rd period squeaker against hockey powerhouse Lativa.
