Pavelec is playing really well in a pretty tight game, which means he's due to give up a completely unforgivable stinker before the game is through.

Took my kids to the Coliseum today, GREAT effing seats. Will post pics when photobucket decides to work, but we were four rows from the ice, had 4 seats, 4 meal vouchers and a $10 Applebees gift card for $109. Almost makes up for having to see a game in that building.

My son's first game...he wasn't very impressed.

Will post action shots later, they're GREAT.

I feel like that Hodgson trade could really pay off for the Sabres. He has been really solid in the first 2 games.

Only Duby and Arty were part of the Nash deal so I don't think you can compare the loss of those 2 plus the other two who walked as UFA's. Erixon is a whiny entitled *****-child who deserves to rot in Columbus hell, but a first round pick is a first round pick. Rangers are in an excellent spot even with those subtractions; you have enough grind with Asham, Callahan and Rupp.
.

Sure you can compare them...they had to get rid of more salary to accomodate Nash, and those two guys, especially Prust, would have been great to bring back, but impossible with the contracts they were offered.

And tell us how you really feel about Erixon...lol.

Great seats!! Thats ridiculous for $110... I had similar seats though not as good in Detroit a few years back and its almost surreal being that close to the action.

Side note - wtf is up with Lindback's glove? I can't stand it when goalies do that, same with Scrivens in Toronto.

i noticed this last night with Scrivens. I have no idea what's up, I don't remember him doing that when he played at Cornell.
