Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Found a deadstock NOS Bill Blass s/s BD in an ivory colour in the US.
Assembled in Jamaica from USA components (?!)

£36/$45 all-in including postage and taxes, which isn't bad for a new-but-vintage Oxford BD

Is there anything like the bedford cord Levis 519 that can still be purchased? I have been scouring for my size on ebay for quite some time to no avail.

Does anyone wear a harrington from a surplus store ?
I bought a Harrington from Ben Nevis in Camden and its got quite a combaty and puffy look compared to a fashion brand like Baracuta which is quite fitted.

The knitted elastic band a bottom is quite tight which gives it a bomber jacket like feel. Would be nice if i can somehow alter it so its abit more loose.

Funny, you just described all the things I hate about the new Baracutas! Skinny arms, loose cuffs, too slim.

Have you tried Ben Sherman or Fred Perry harringtons? They might be a bit more fitted than the more traditional Combat/Ben Nevis/Jump the Gun/pre-Lavori Baracutas.

I have a Fred Perry MIE Harrington and it's quite tight on the waist and the cuffs, but I can't compare with traditionnal models. It's not loose that's for sure
