Melb members, did you remove your tie and/or jacket in public during the heatwave?

Why on earth should that be a question. If you are not comfortable then you cannot do your job, whatever it is, properly.

REMIOVE your jacket when it is hot!

I ditched the suit for pants and a shirt. No tie, sleeves rolled up above the elbow and I ditched the socks as well.

Godamn it's been hot.

I have to wear a suit for work and don't much like wearing a suit without a tie, so I kept the tie (madness I know). I also kept my jacket but only actually wore it for attending a tribunal hearing. Looks like next week won't be quite so scorching - fingers crossed!

C'mon dudes, toughen up! 40C is a cool day for Perth...

Nah just kidding, I'm not liking the extreme heat at all.

Was actually hotter here in Adelaide, which really sucked.

I envy your cold snap in Melbourne..

I kept with my suit & tie despite it being absurd to do so in such ****** heat conditions. I actually use my jacket to hold alot of stuff for work so I don't have to carry a man bag. I didn't have an office to take shelter in either...

My only advice - stay hydrated and network rooms (that don't have power failures) are great places to relax in!
