Can anyone share their experience with sending Luxire a shirt to copy? I really like a certain brand of long-sleeve polo but they're $225 retail and only available in limited fabrics/colors. If I could send to Luxire to copy both style and sizing that would be great. Any experience with this, and tips on how to order, is welcome. Cheers.

Luxire offers a service where by they send u a label/ invoice etc etc.

They copied my shirt exactly......many here have done the same. Include any instructions you wish. EZ PZ

Nice, thanks! I’ll post the results when I receive the shirt.
Cheers.

Getting a lot of use out of this boiled wool flannel SC from Luxire during this San Francisco "summer."

Will Luxire make me a Henley T-shirt? There is no option for anything of the sort, though they do make polos.

^This one's unpadded and uncanvased, but it's lined, in a nice iridescent silk.

Does anyone have experience with Lux madras? Ie how's the bleeding, slubbiness etc? Is it a "true" madras or a more modern colorfast-ish version?

I've had polos made with the Eido Style Collar and Placket. No need to send them a sample as they have a patter for these details.

I've been wanting to see live pics of this collar! Thanks for posting this.

---

I have ordered from Luxire a pair of trousers 15 days ago. I am not otherwise worried but I realised that I have never taken the time to ask what's the regular delivery period for trousers. What is it on average?

For me, typically 4 - 8 weeks. I think typical variables include the effort involved in establishing your pattern or dealing with any new requirements, availability of the fabrics you requested, and the workload/holidays of their team.

Thanks!

I ordered "Trial pants" which were quite close to the original high waisted dress trousers pattern, so I don't expect that to be a complicating factor. I'll expect them in the course of the next 6 weeks!

Fresco Update!

We currently have 10 member for color 246! This is great news, and I have emailed Luxire. We typically like to get 11-12 members just in case someone drops out, however as long as we get all members who have shown interest to order, we should get to our number. If anyone is on the fence for 246 the color is excellent and great to wear with lighter colored sport coats and white linen shirts.

Link update:

I truly appreciate everyone's patience. I want to be fully transparent with everyone, Ashish emailed me the link for color 248 prior to his travels on 5/12, however there was a small discrepancy in the price. I have emailed Ashish and the Luxire team, and we are currently waiting for the page to be updated.

I am completely confident that it will be corrected as soon as Ashish returns and the Luxire team can make the necessary changes.

As soon as I have the updated link, it will be posted. Thank you all for your patience.

Best,

DL-

I recently ordered a few madras shirts from Luxire and should have them in just a couple more weeks (fingers crossed) and can report back when I receive them. One of them was listed as "Bleeding Madras" but I'm sort of skeptical. IIRC, authentic bleeding madras is basically non-existent these days because of some sort of safety concerns over the dyes that were traditionally used.
