Actually I am on the short side of the spectrum, standing 172cm tall.

I hate billowing around the waist and in contrast to most other users around here my shirts are nowhere near as wide at the bottom as in the chest.
Still I further try to further improve the fit of my shirts to get as little billowing as somewhat possible without restricting my freedom of movement and without pulling around the lowest button.
I read somewhere that another button could/would reduce the billowing, so I gave it a try.
I did not notice much of a difference and discarded it because I had the following shirts made shorter and did not see any use in another button on a shirt which was made to be worn untucked.

I think you should just give it a try, it's always best to experience features like that first hand.
What might not work for me might work for you and vice versa.

Hey I have an idea. Why not add hidden snap buttons (like the ones they use for hidden button down collars) between 5th, 6th, and 7th real buttons? This should solve the billowing/bowing problem while not changing button spacing and overall look of your shirt. I like my idea so much, I might just add it to my current order if it's not too late...

Thanks!

What is the u crotch?

Basically the crotch measurement or your front and back rise added up. What is still unclear to me is how does any tailor properly adjust rise without screwing up your the crotch measurement to either end up with a potato sack pants or constrict your junk.

One thing that comes to mind is to adjust the waist line and seat line so if you want lower or higher rise pants they will sit at the right height.

That's why I think it's risky to mess with the rise measurements.

how does a process with copying a shirt work? do you mail it to NJ? do you place an order as you're mailing it, and say 'wait on shirt', or what?

Place order online
State in notes you are sending shrit for measurement
Send to NJ
Luxire forwards to India (takes about 1 week)
Luxire starts production in India

Note, that your item is not tracked between NJ to India. So if you want to have tracking all the way, you can send your garment directly to India with tracking.

For those who ordered copies of the Ambrosi, did you send some pants with the right measurements to Luxire or did you take them by yourself?

Many thanks!
I measured my well fitting pants by myself. The key is to have a nice fitting pants at the beginning. You can however adjust them by sending Luxire pics and ask for advice.
