My pants are in Dubai now and Fedex has chenge my delivery date to Monday instead of Friday..
Ok, so you requested thin buttons on your new shirt? Or has Luxire changed their buttons?
No, they had some trochas test buttons (for two shirts), and I asked for those. These are not exactly what I meant, but they're fine, though they are thin.
I see. I found trochas to be very similar to MOP. I have some on other shirts, but their are definitely a lot thicker.
I am a fan of thin, plastic buttons.
I never gave much thought to them until NOBD had mentioned he had special ones on the way. The thick MOP ones Luxire includes as basic work for me. But the actual plastic ones - are you being sarcastic? Those break in my dryer quite frequently.
I was at Biltmore Fashion Square here and someone was trying to sell me a shirt for $400 and it had dye injected plastic buttons. I thought for $400, I should be getting some actual MOP or something.
I can't stand thin buttons. I always feel like I'm going to break them in half just putting on my shirt.
Could just be I don't know my own strength.
Perhaps I'm using the wrong term. With trochas I mean the beige/light brown type of button on the navy linen shirt in this pic; these are not thick either, thicker though than the ones on my latest shirt.
Dang. I should have got Crows Feet stitching. I wonder how much extra that is.
What I hope for in the future.
Luxire, I'm looking for more two colour small-midsize ginghams for the fall. This one is promising, but more is welcomed...
I actually prefer the default "cross stitch" of Luxire.
Not a great photo. Navy chinos.
Jealous of the wood floor.
Knees look too tight. Other than that, I like them.
Any reason? Or just aesthetics?
