Every time a new Luxire package arrives a new order is placed. I believe Chrystal Meth is easier to drop than these chinos. Another pair of chinos and a shirt are coming way.

By the way how do you pronounce @luxire ? When referring your services to German friends of mine I've heard the funniest pronunciations. I myself pronounce it by swallowing the 'ious' in 'luxurious'. I might need some phonetics

Very very nice spread you've got there. Just have a few quick questions. Can you comment on how you like the jeans? I have weird proportions, and am thinking about a pair. Also, what are the bronze chinos like? I am thinking of getting a pair for very casual use.

I ordered the 14oz Dark Indigo Selvedge and am very happy. I didn't get my pattern right the first time, so I will have to get the seat altered slightly. The construction is great and the denim is to my layman's eyes very high quality.

I will post some pictures as soon as my next order arrives, hopefully I'll have more time then. @mothon

The bronze chinos are my favourite chinos from this bunch, though they are out of stock.

@CruzAzul The cream twill is slightly transparent. Luxire will line them to your knee, though, so it's not an issue. Sadly the fabric wrinkles quickly. I crease them with a steam press after every wash and they stay in for one day of wear. Don't get mud on them, I made the mistake of playing golf once in these and neither H2O2 nor ox gall soap sufficed to get them cleaned entirely. It's not that noticeable any more after a couple washes, but it taught me the lesson that I'm not the kind of guy who should own delicate white trousers in the first place.

Luxire,

could you please get back to me and confirm some of the stuff I've sent in emails (Saturday and follow up) or on here via pm?

Given the quick turnaround times currently, I am afraid that something slips through.

I need several pairs of 'dressy' chinos, can you/ anybody help with what options I should be looking at/ specifying?

- I already have several perfectly fitting casual cotton chinos
- Would you use your suit/ business/ woolen pants for the sizing (and style for that matter), or just any nicely fitting chino/pant?
- Would I need to specify a crease?

Appreciate any ideas

I'd be interested to hear the general consensus on the questions @burnso raised above.

Also, has anyone purchased gift cards from Luxire? I received an e-mail confirmation of my order but have yet to receive an e-mail with the actual gift card number. Wondering if it just takes an extra day than what I had anticipated. (I received the follow-up e-mail minutes after posting this comment; for informational purposes, I received the gift card number approximately 10 hours or so after receiving the purchase confirmation e-mail.)

Thank you for the pic, that looks great. I'm definitely getting that on my last order. Added the shirring to the Luxire googledoc. Would you mind sharing your order number?

Luxire, would you be able to hand sew the shoulder, exactly the same way as in these pictures? How much extra would that cost?

+1

I do not find on your website what are the details sewn by hand (if any) and if there are different levels of hand stitching and different prices, can you please detail on this?
If possible both on shirts and on trousers.
Thanks

I'm intrigued by the backgrounds of the shirt pics.

I love that you get a better sense of scale of the fabrics on a finished product like this but I really don't like the cheesy " definitely not an Indian sewing factory" background photoshop.

I'd much prefer it if it was a real background in every picture. Just place the dolly in your workshop, and stay authentic.

We don't need a mountain range backdrop to imagine how a flannel shirt would look like.

Also you might want to not use a flash when taking the photographs as well as maybe give the dolly a different colour but black. Black easily messes with the white balance and the colours in the image end up different from the real ones.

Great job explaining what I meant by 'intrigued', @clapeyron. :) Thank you.
