I have a Johnston Murphy belt that is a close match to the AE Walnut. I got it at a local store for $49.99.

+1 for Johnston Murphy. Also check Jos. A. Banks. Both of them sell belts in colors that are very close matches to AE's "walnut" at substantially lower prices. (I own a pair of AE Fairfax in walnut and pair them with a JAB belt that is all but indistinguishable in color.)

I picked up a Polo RL belt at Marshalls for $20 that matched the Walnut color great. Maybe check there. It was a little more casual/thicker then some may like but I liked it a lot.

I got a belt for $30 at Tiptop. Trick was to bring the shoes with to compare.

Bumping this thread since it's a question I have as well. Any good places online where I could find something?

I bought a belt from Naragansett Leathers, which matches pretty well. It was the chestnut colour.

I got the AE belt in walnut for 79 on ebay just because I needed it in a hurry. It hurt me to spend that much on a belt.

Do you have a DSW near you? They carry Florsheim belts that are like $25 and I found one that matches my AE Walnut shoes very nicely.

I have a pair of AE cliftons in walnut and happened to be wearing them when I visited a j. crew store near my office a couple months ago. Picked up this belt which matches perfectly: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/accessories/belts/PRDOVR~30871/30871.jsp

It was $35 bucks or so, looks like it's $40 now. You may want to check it in person to doublecheck the color, though. It looks a little darker in that link than mine does and I don't guarantee they are the exact same belt.

    Thanks for the help everyone...

Yeah I've been using a darker shade. But today in class a partner at a big four accounting firm was like you need to match your shoes / belt. He was wearing a shirt about two sizes two big and square toed shoes, but he is a partner and although I'm not in accounting but he probably thinks like a lot of people coming to my school. I normally wear black captoes, but want to mix it up every once in a while to stand out a bit. I have a Navy suit, slightly lighter than normal and I thought the walnut belts look kinda weird.

I'm in Indiana, nothing close to me other than Target really. I don't have a car so I can't drive to Indy. They still had Missoni today though.

I have one about an hour away, may make the trip up.

No J. Crews near me. May just order though given that it looks like a decent belt...damn J. Crew and their ridiculous shipping though.

does the rolling buckle on the jcrew belt make it look a little more casual?
not sure whether it's a big deal or not

I guess the rolling buckle might look a little more casual, but I just rocked my walnut AEs and belt with a navy suit this weekend, and it looked pretty good. Walnut with blue is definitely going to catch some eyes, you just have to ask yourself if that's what you want, I guess.
