If you can, I'd make an appointment. I was fitted at the LA trunk show and had a great experience. Kent had me try on a trial suit, he actually fitted me into a smaller size to get the shoulders right. He then took notes on what adjustments should be made and emailed them to me as well. I think the process would be the same if you made an appointment. I think it was better than trying to do it myself or via photos. Plus, you can view the swatches, ask questions and determine the style options in person. Unfortunately, I did this a year ago and didn't take any photos. So, I'm probably going to order the trial suit anyway, just to refresh my memory. Good luck!

Had to source fabric from Minnis and send it to kent.


He does have some Linen and some Linen blend I believe (if you're okay with a bit of wrinkles), but no Fresco if that is what you're looking for.

Only if you want to buy 8 ties of the exact same fabric. Even then, I'm not certain; we'd have to look into it further.

@Kent - I've got sort of a weird body shape since gaining some weight (18.5 shoulder, 44 chest) and I'm wondering which size of jacket I should order from you for MTM. I might be running as a political candidate in our upcoming election and I want to make sure I look my best.

The most important measurement is the shoulder as we can't modify that significantly, unlike all other measurements. So it's best if you can measure a jacket that fits you well from shoulder seam to shoulder seam and compare with the measurement chart. It's important that you measure a jacket, and not your body. Based on what you just mentioned, I'd say the 42, but you should double check with the measurement chart.
