It's on, again! This time in a really beautiful, incredibly lighted space, on W 36th Street, just off of Fifth Avenue. We are excited to present an expanded list of vendors, and to collaborate with A&H Magazine.

What is this?
The Proper Kit will have more options for customized footwear, tailoring, shirting, and accessories than any trunk show, ever. So come get kited out for the long winter and to have a drink or six with us. (There will also be some great food - Eclairs from Eclair, for one.)

Is that all?
No. That's not all. Mr. Bruce Boyer, author and menswear authority, will be signing copies of his latest book, "True Style", from 11:30-3:00 p.m. Copies will be available for sale at the event.

How do I make sure that I don't miss this awesomeness?
Walk ins are welcome, but we would apprecaite an RSVP here on our official splash page, so we know for how many people to plan. Those attendees who RSVP will also have first access. We are anticipating a hgih turn out. Don't be that guy who is stuck at the door because of fire regulations.

Be sure to also like The Proper Kit Facebook Page for news, and to follow the #theproperkit hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr, for news about giveaways, cool stuff that you'll see there, and behind the scenes outtakes (possibly of me getting slapped by @gdl203
and slapping @Synthese , like The Three Stooges, but marginally better looking. And now, to the details.

When?
This year, we are doing a one day only event, on November 7: 11:30 am - 6:30 pm

Where?
This year, we are at Gary's Loft - both the Penthouse and 11th floor.
28 West 36th St
Penthouse Suite and 11th Floor
New York, NY 10018

Who?
No Man Walks Alone
Carmina Shoemaker
Epaulet New York
Monsieur Fox
Res Ipsa
J. Fitzpatrick Footwear
Panta Clothing
Shockoe Atelier
Kent Wang
The Hanger Project
Cordone 1956
Ben by JW

This is more or less finalized. If there are additional vendors, this list will be updated immediately.

We will be doing a social media giveaway with premium leather goods as prizes from Linjer and from La Portegna.

During the event, for those in attendance and the millions worldwide who cannot attend, we will be holding online auctions throughout the day as well.

Let's discuss what we want to see, make arrangements to meet up, and give me suggestions on what to order for food and drink, here! I plan to see a lot of you there.

Cheers,

Fok.

P.S. Some pics of the venue to whet your appetite.

Scotch, for sure, though we may do some more local stuff and my fav, Bourbon, this year. We may be doing French for food though. One of the pieces of feedback I got was for more filling, less "fingery" food. It will be good though. Food is my jam (just realized how little sense that makes, but you feel me.

I just might be able to make this. Would love to see some of the faces behind the brands.

Can't wait to see all you guys - and check out that vendor list. Rad.

Our event last year was great fun, and this year promises to be twice as nice. I really hope everyone who made it out to our last trunk show has a chance to come again - always fun to shake hands over a whiskey.

Jealous.

-stuck down here in central Florida.
There are flights. I've been in central Florida to monitor controlled burns. Trust me, NYC is infinitely better unless you love bad dive food (I like good dive food, but a lot of it is terrible) and Comfort Inns.
