I believe the chapel is on an 8000 last?

The 7000 last is the same as the 8000, except that the 7000 has a round toe while the 8000 has a chisel toe.

I wear 7.5 on my William 2 but size 8 on the Jodhpur 2s which is on the 7000 last. The reason i had to size up was because David at the Jermyn St store felt that the 7000 was a little slimmer, and therefore my little toe had to a bit further down the shoe where its widest. The William 2 is a little bit wider than the 7000 last.

I would reckon if you find the 8000 last too wide, then you'd probably size down. But if they fit snug or even slightly too snug at your little toe, then the same size in the William 2 is fine!
Thanks. It is a horrible issue that I lost some weight and my feet becomes slimmer. The 8.5EE is now a bit wide and instep a bit high. Thick socks can help for instep although.

Actually I consider selling them

^It's the standard height for JLP bespoke, but they will do whatever you want if you prefer lower or higher.

@Mark Lee Jin Yi What shoe trees do you use for William II? I just saw John Lobb made lasted trees for the 9795 last, that is William last which they claim to fit perfectly. The shape really does differ to their generic trees, so I guess this could be a good investment.

Thank You guys!

Actually the price of William lasted trees is the same as their Generic shape tree. I would never consider buying JL generic trees though as I think 30$ saphir generic tree will do equally good job. Once it's not lasted, not much of a difference to justify the price gap IMO.
