Doubt it. If so, they would name drop to gain more popularity for sure.

Actually, yes. Name dropping the Italian mill doesn't do anything for the average consumer because they wouldn't know the mill if it hit 'em **********. Again, if it says "made of Italian fibers" or fiber loomed in an Italian mill but says "made in China" on the tag then what do you think it means?

I'm done with this season and these barrage of sales. Going to spare my wallet for some Spring/Summer stuff now. Wish they'd have sales spread throughout the year instead of the daily December ones.

Anyone get the Buffalo Check or Black Watch overshirt(s) yet? Was thinking of getting the CPO/Buffalo Check shirt with the recent sale, but wanted to hear from others first...

Ahhhh my overcoat should be here either today or tomorrow. CANNOT WAIT.

Which one did you go with? The 100% wool or the wool/cashmere?

This one.

It just arrived, actually. It's great, but naturally the sleeves are a bit too long for my short T-rex arms. Because they're not surgeon cuffs, taking an inch or two off shouldn't be a big deal, right?

Just bought the Chppewa for J crew moc toe boots and was wondering sizing. I have small feet so I bought their smallest size of 7.5 while in wolverines I wear 7. Should that be fine? Also, any recommendations on how I should treat it? Should I do snow seal? I plan to wear these on light winter snow in Toronto.

Oh god, I want that coat. So sick. What size did you get?

Yeah, shouldn't be a big deal to raise the sleeves.

I highly recommend everyone to keep track of the price of the stuff they buy. With all these sales going on, I've found the price on two things I bought decreased. In this case you have two options:

1. Call them directly about a price adjustment (must be within 7 day window).
2. Just buy a new one and return the old one (if outside the 7 day window, but within the 30 day).

I've done this twice in the last couple of weeks and saved $70 so far.

40. It's a good fit, although I could slim it across the chest/waist a tad. It sucks because I'm very broad across the shoulders but could fit into 38 otherwise.

Just went to the J. Crew Men's Store in LA at the Grove Mall and man is that store nice. It has a ton of Wallace and Barnes stuff, a lot of which is no longer offered online like the camo workshirt, the color blocked flannel shirt, and the pindot shirt, they also had a large selection of boots from Red Wings to the Chippewa, unfortunatley no Alden's, was hoping to try on a pair. They had a huge selection of their secret wash shirts in all sizes, my local J.Crew has a tiny selection of XS which is what I take. In the back they had a large selection of suits. I walked out with a pair of the 484 chinos and the selvedge indigo denim shirt. I wish I had a Men's Store where I live, I don't live in LA. They were even offering a free haircut and shave, first come first serve. I think I spent well over an hour in there.

How has everyone's experience been with their return policy? I bought something with cash and of course lost the receipt. Can I still return the item for at least store credit if the tags are still on?

This is cool to hear - going to LA this weekend, and being relatively unfamiliar with the area, will have to check it out.
