How many SFers enjoy visiting the local record stores?

There's a record store near me that I visit occasionally, even though I look very out of place in it (the store also sells comic books and the like, and caters to a younger crowd). It is one of the types of brick-and-mortar stores that I still like to visit.

What's a record store? Seriously, the one that I frequented from time to time is now closing. Sad

I used to really enjoy it when I was an undergrad. There was a little shop, the old owner would get bootlegs, had near encyclopedic knowledge of most genres of music, and had a selection that was unreal for such a small shop. He died. Shop changed. Most of the other stores I have tried have been crappy... probably from the stress of a slowly deteriorating business model. Prices went up a lot, which seemed insane. So I stopped buying.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
