About six last night with 4 at 6 minute pace,
13 tonight slow as balls. Spent most of the run looking for soft surfaces to run on at night.

Felt good at the start of a 5.5 loop, so I decided to see how fast I could do 5k. Crushed my PR, even though it was the mostly uphill section of the route. Stopped for a drink of water, then finished the rest of the loop.

7km @ 40min. Haven't been running at all for last few months, so a solid start. Biking like 50km at least 3-4 per week though...

Anybody knows a more or less reliable calculator for calories burned running? So far the online ones I've checked ask for your weight and distance, but produce completely different results, sub 200 kcal difference though :paranoia:

Lots of options for this, but the rule of thumb states about 100 calories per mile. With those type of calculations there is so much variance between people that I think it is hard to get a great number from the web. A buddy of mine uses something called a "body bug" which monitors all of those types of statistics.

8 last night slow
22.5 today with lots of climbing. Jumped in the ocean at 21.5, which was awesome. I think I ended up averaging about a 7:40 pace, but I am satisfied with the effort. 83.5 miles for the week. Trying to keep the 80+ mile weeks coming.

Went out for 4.5 yesterday, but knee and hip protested more than the usual warming up aches. Stopped at 2.2.

I got in 6 miles before work this morning and another 4 during my lunch break. I'm trying to add another 4-6 at lunchtime at least twice a week. Today was my first go of it.

This morning 3 miles. I started running again last Thursday after a four-year hiatus. I thought I should start slow and every other day thus, I've run three days now. It's been great so far without any issues whatsoever, it's as though I never stopped running.

4.2 miles, 29:45

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here ever timed their 1-mile top pace? I haven't, but I was thinking about it.
