I am now in proud possetion of 10 new Jantzen shirts, the first shirts I have bought in about 4 or 5 years. first impressions

very very happy with the fabric, met my expectations completly. the fabric that I chose is rich and soft and looks very good, feels good to the touch. I am happy with the buttons, as well.

tailoring and details seem to be good - stripes aligned, everything appears to be solid.

I have had better fitting shirts - I am not that easy to fit, but my old shirtmaker fit me better - on the other hand, he did 80-100 shirts for me over 3 years.

I put in my first order satuerday afternoon, got back the sample monday at 4 pm, then all 10 tuesday 4 pm. can't complain about that.

something like $40 a shirt. can't complain about that, either.

I met with Luk-Cha, who was gracious enough to take me for some excellent dim sum, and we spent the afternoon wonder the streets of kowloon. Thank you very much LC.

yeah, about 16 days, 5 cities, traveling with a guy that, although he is nice enough, I don't really enjoy spending time with (and I am guessing it is mutual). Wed night, ny time I will be home with my family.

I have had some very good food on this trip - great dim sum 4 or 5 times, good malaysian, good sezuan, good shanghaise.

but it will be very good to be home with the family.

all thick, doby cotton

2 white

2 french blue herringbone with stripes - one pink, one darker blue

3 french blue herringbone

one light blue herringbone

one french blue nailhead

one light blue nailhead

I like blue shirts, what I wanted was to get some shirts with more texture.

in terms of fit - I think that, when I move around a little, there was a wierd wrinckle that showed up on one shirt. that, hopefully, will go away with a wash. aside from that, I am pretty happy.

btw - ricky said that he is working on your shipment, but he "is very very busy"
