Belatedly, yesterday's outfit: Self Isolation, Day 12. #ResearchFriday #ResearchCasual and #FormalFriday all in one rosy bundle.

In the previous world, "Research Friday" consisted of me and my colleagues in a reserved conference room at our library. Yesterday, it was in my study.

This semester is "lost" in the sense that it's confusing, but it's not lost in the sense that it's gone or wasted.

Threads cited:

Shirt and khakis: Brooks Brothers.

Custom DB Blazer: Grady Ervin in Charleston.

Socks of unknown provenance.

Pocket Square: 319 Men in Charleston.

Vintage items from eBay, thrift, & consignment: Zelli suede loafers; tie bar; Robert Talbott tie in a double four-in-hand.

Pocket square from grandmother's quilting drawer.

@Timex Weekender watch with @SmartTurnout watch band.

Glasses and sunglasses: @WarbyParker.

Those pockets are throwing me every kind of off.
I think it's just the AAS angle. The pockets seem normal to me.

But then I have seen people request Spier & Mackay lower their pockets relative to the bottom pocket like other "popular" Neapolitan tailors, so maybe you're on to something.

It's just too busy and complicated. It shouldn't be this difficult. Try following the advice you've received over the past two weeks. Are you receptive to advice? If not, I won't continue offering it. If you own solid shirts, now is the time to consider wearing them. Figure out how to simplify what you're doing.
