Held, better. Now stack up some books on that table and get the camera at chest level.

AS, technically I think a square with more contrast would improve the fit, but rules are made to be broken, and for a summer look I really like what you've done, square included.

Definitely better. Now get that chair out of the way!

Better. Try a higher vantage point. Chest level.

Held, better yes.

Like AAS said, try to set the iPhone higher for a more flattering look, it'll work wonders

Would have liked to see this posted by a newbie, can't for a moment imagine it getting 30+ likes. Just like a 50's car sales man. I think @Claghorn is testing us. Textures, patterns, colours... ...

i also love them for PoWs (which are kind of similar to windowpanes a little bit sort of). see above braddock executing that combo superbly.

That makes a lot of sense. I had dotted knits on my "list" for a while, for odd jackets, but given that a PoW check suit or two will be swinging into my closet this fall, I may have to pick one up.

I really like PoW with repps, too.

No, not always.

Most of the time though, yes, because otherwise not enough length of the tie gets used and I end up with the narrow end hanging lower by a couple of inches. I know some do this on purpose, even, but I think it's kind of an affected look.

By the way, I've been admiring your suits a lot lately, I really like the natural shoulder and wider lapels you have going on.

Thanks. With my build (thin with broad, bony shoulders, I'm not a V, I'm a T), natural shoulders are what makes most sense. The wide lapels I just like; wait till this one gets finished. :D

Really wouldn't have thought that you have a problem with too long ties; you look really tall, I would have thought you had problems with too short ties. What about a double FIH?

epic win.

sander and braddock may not play on the same team. I DISALLOW IT!!!

Great, now you've awoken the disobedient child in me.

Dressing down gets boring quickly - I've reverted to a suit for today.

@upr_crust: good fit, but I'm not a fan of the striped tie with such a formal (peak lapel, one button) suit. Burgundy printed would have been my choice, or burgundy grenadine. Your shoe selection narrows the tie selection somewhat, if it had been a very dark brown, a brown tie would have been awesome.

@Sander with your body shape described as a T, do you find it difficult to find shirts that fit you off the rack? Or do you go the MTM route?
