Yeah, I should have mentioned that I too really enjoy all the excellent photography. It's just, well...a little strange/overly precious, maybe? I mean, I just want to know what you wore today, NOT what you curated for a day-long photo shoot. Sometimes a bathroom selfie is enough, or anything that actually depicts clothes being worn in the wild, so to speak...

Thing is... a long time ago most of us discussed that phenomenon and resigned ourselves to the fact that photography skills do play a role in what seems to look good around here. Looks like you have been around a while so you may remember that. That doesn't mean that the issue shouldn't be discussed further, it's just, yeah, good photography does add something. How much is up for debate.

Plenty of people with better clothes and worse pictures than mine getting more thumbs and compliments than me, for whatever that's worth.

Anyway, I like good photos, and my business card says "photographer," so I have a minimum standard to meet.

When I post pictures, my wife takes three pictures just before I walk downstairs to head to the car. We probably take 4 or 5 total, and she picks the best 3. i stand in one spot, and just adjust based on light no curating. I for one like some of the highly skilled photos.

Yeah posters like Holdfast and even Crusty never got/get the credit they deserve because their pics. All the same, Victor's an incredible dresser with his own sprezz that would look good anywhere.
