thread idea- high res outside action shots
Great minds... I actually typed, "Victor, particularly in this most recent bout of participation, has engaged in discussion, so I think there's no harm in the magazine-style photos," before backspacing.
Great minds drink alike?
I highly doubt very many people here get dressed solely for fit pics. Meaning to say that the clothes we see are not actually what they wore for the duration of the day.
Anyhow, Marc V, nice combo. Some shape in the waist, a little less break, and a white square and I think it would be outstanding. High grade fotos or not!
Or do they...
Performative, or competitive? Aka Dressing for Thumbs.
Actually I really appreciate the higher quality photos, both from an overall aesthetic standpoint, but also for a truer representation of texture, pattern and color as well for a better perspective of how stuff really fits without all manner of bad angles, poor lighting and distortion gumming (gemming?) up the works. There is a contingent of folks here who look as good, or possibly even better in their fit pics than in "real life", but then for many the inverse is quite likely true. I rarely if ever post here, in large part because I rarely wear anything I feel is worth posting, but also because my pictures tend to look like they were taken by a drunk, or my cat (the latter of whom is actually fairly clever and were it not for a lack of opposable thumbs would likely be taking better pictures than me).
I really don't think they do.
Nah, me either. I'm just
Another episode of SF after dark!
Boy aint that the truth.
I think my pics have improved significantly. It has everything to do with getting a new, more easily managed, camera last year though. Also, I have taken some interest in photographing.
I, for one, would love it if you posted fits more often.
a) you're a good guy
b) you're too smart to have been around this long without picking up a thing or to about dressing well
c) if there is room for improvement (and there is...for all of us), posting pics is a great way to go about getting that improvement
Good old Blighty!
Everything nice and neat...but the socks...hmmm,
New pants back from the tailor. PRL cotton glen plaid with daks adjusters and belt loops. Believe it or not, I've never owned a pair of sunglasses. These, my first, arrived today. $13 from J. Crew Factory. Getting ready for spring break. What do you think? They may be a bit big. I probably won't wear them with tailored clothing. I'm sorry, but there is something seriously wrong with these bespoke (!) trousers - the fly is positioned way too high, leaving a what looks like 1-2 inches down to the crotch!
