Really like this. Think the brown trousers work well.
(All this assumes, of course, that the Isaia swag is worn ironically.)

Thanks C! I dig the coral pin...always have. old habits die hard i guess.
i love em. where is the one you got for me?!?!?!?!?!
I despise yellow ties but you look fine. No worries.Definitely brown in town today, with the dreaded yellow tie everybody seems to hate.... (The tie is not really so bright in real life as the photo below seem to suggest, the colour in the spoilerd close-up is closer to the real colour)Details:
That tie is awesome, man. You're rocking it! I suppose the reason why the waters of men's style are so murky is because we all have our own tastes. I think style should never be boring, and ties like yours, which coordinate well with your suit by the way, really add some pop that makes others notice.
that is superb, pingson. awesome suit, and supreme combo.
I have 0 hate for yellow ties. Even if I had any, I'd find it hard not liking this combination.Definitely brown in town today, with the dreaded yellow tie everybody seems to hate....(The tie is not really so bright in real life as the photo below seem to suggest, the colour in the spoilerd close-up is closer to the real colour)Details:
Thanks for all the comments guys, it seems like some yellow ties might actually be acceptable then . I used to be rather sceptical of yellow ties, mostly because of looks like this:I don't like them, the yellow ties, but this is an excellent application of one.
Who makes the tie? I really like all the elements here.
****!!!! I totally forgot when you were here! Y U NO REMIND ME?! Text me tonight and remind me to mail it to you.
I for one don't subscribe to the "no navy trousers" idea (I'm even wearing a pair as I write this ), but I think that when navy trousers work (as they do in GMMcLs fit!) there is often another option that would work equally well or better. In this case a pair of dar grey/charcoal trousers would look splendid, I think.Today was the dreaded navy pents fit. I didn't set out to end up in navy pents. But that's where I ended up after rejecting just about every other option. I would appreciate thoughts for what else might have worked. I guess some kind of brown or umber, but I think the pair I used to have in that color fell victim to my latest closet cleanse, because I couldn't find them.PRL linen/cotton Barba linen/cotton shirt, pale pink IRL, btw Zegna linen/cotton tie Unknown wool/silk tie Trafalgar belt Paul Stuart hopsack wool trou Panthy socks J&M Imperial shoes.
Today's attire was recycled from yesterday - an unfortunate solemn duty, the attendance of a wake for a long-time colleague. I switched out yesterday's dark tie for today's Charvet to lessen the severity of the look a bit.
