There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'm glad that at least someone appreciated it. It can be difficult to be a member of the hard sciences around here.

And for my taste, I rarely like the look of a button-down shirt with a suit, especially something as formal as a pinstripe suit.

fUP did you say ? NOooooooooooooooo to that shirt with that suit. An open weave blue or - god forbid - an open weave white sans button down.
keep the tie & change the ps for a black/purple/touch of green

Personally, I don't either, but that's not anywhere close to the top of the issues here :)

Yeah, no, don't do that. The square is fine unless you are :foo:

    Well, I can't say I didn't expect that reaction. So that's something.

Clearly changing the shirt for a white or light blue non-BD is the right move. (I knew that already.)

But, sticking with the shirt (for degree of difficulty points, if for no other reason), how does this work? It's a lighter blue (sort if light denim-color, not as gray as it appears in the pic) sport coat. Thoughts?

With the caveat that I can't really tell the color aside from your description, can't see the pants, and I can't tell how "sportcoat-ey" that jacket looks from that angle, this is much better.

I'm still not a fan of that shirt at all--multistripe shirts are pretty much a no go in my book. But this is much better.

You're still only in shades of blue. Honestly, I thought that the blue of the tie and the blue of the suit not working (for me) was as big of an issue with your previous fit as the shirt. This is better, though.

All good points. Thanks. It may very well be too much blue, and perhaps the shirt is just irredeemable.

I appreciate all the feedback. I'm not going to keep trying different combinations or anything - just thought I'd throw on a different jacket when I got home to see what people thought.

Same photographer, different suits. And slightly less of me than there used to be.

I +2/+3/+4/+100 that this shirt should not be worn with a suit.

Not sure about the tie. Should I go tieless today?
Would normaly worn a navy grenadine but went with this wool tie today.
Full body shot is too dark. Colours are more accurate in the closeups.
