Really enjoyed seeing this ensemble. I really like the winter/country feel of the suit, and that's a wonderful coat.

Way Too much green happening there, sorry. Like the tie and coat, but they need balancing out with less matchy colour.

I'd try that jacket with a pale blue shirt, or a white/navy stripe. Brown or burgundy wool tie, maybe with pin dots. Cream colored silk PS. Would look like much less of a hotel pillow mint that way.

I like everything but the shirt.
Hard to tell the colours due to the light.

Not the best representation, but it's the best I can do without spending an hour on photoshop.

I do like the jacket, but it seems a tad short on you. And the pants are too tight, especially around the thighs and the ankle.

I really hope I can get 2-3 new ties next month... until then, you're gonna get tired of this one. I promise I won't post much anyways [IMG]

Yep. By the way, I could swear E.G. Cappelli has the same tie available in their outlet section, and it's self-tipped + 9 cm width, which I prefer (this one is 8 cm). If I had known... [IMG]

Well if you are tired of the tie send it to me. Along with the rest of the outfit. I like it all.

Are you sure you don't mean un-tipped? Hard to see too well from here but it looks like there is hand-rolling on the bottom of the tie, which would mean it's un-tipped. Self tipped is whe the tie is still tipped, but in the same fabric as the tie (see below) and regular tipped is when it's made out of a different fabric, usually satin or something similar to save coin. Of course you may already know all this but I thought it could be a lost in translation moment. Great fit though, love the trousers.

Keeping with the grey theme of the last two days, a three-pattern mash-up with a strong dash of retro detailing to boot . . .

    Suit & tie - BB
    Shirt - BB MTM
Cufflinks - Boston Museum of Fine Arts
    Shoes - Finsbury, Paris
    Topcoat - JAB
Hat - Selentino, via JJ Hat Center, NYC
    Scarf - New & Lingwood

yep, I meant Cappelli's is self tipped and 9 cm, and I prefer both things over mine, which is 8 cm and untipped :)
still it's a more casual and different touch, that isn't bad.

Everything is way too matchy. First off, don't wear that shirt with, well, anything. Second, the tie matches the coat too much. Wear a light blue shirt and a different tie.

RDiaz, this is great. You've been improving a lot--well done! I feel you on the ties :)

Agreed. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the jacket. Not only is it too short, but it's too much like a suit jacket with that pattern and the slash pockets.

I actually like the shirt. Just not with a jacket and tie.
