I have been lurking on the forum for a couple months. I work for a software company and we just switched from business casual to business formal. So I quickly acquired 6 suits. Unfortuneately they were mostly Hugo Boss. My solid navy just bubbled after about 3 to 4 drycleanings. I know thats a lot of drycleaning, but I spill alot of coffee.

Anyway, this forum has reeducated me. I will be buying much better suits from here on out.

Right-on. If you follow some of the deals posted here, and the general advice of the forum, you'll get suits that are much much better than the Boss suits at the same price or most likely even less.

My advice is to immediately try an Isaia from SierraTradingPost.com

Gah, not another one! Trust me, you don't want any Corneliani in 38R, particularly at deep discount.

Welcome! Good luck on your suit purchases. Would some nice dress shoes interest you, too? And please be careful about the spilt coffee.

Bubbled == disintegration of the fuse-glue?

Does this happen mainly when a suit is ironed too hot and can therefore happen to all fused-construction suits?

Welcome to the board. Your troubles with Boss suits actually sound very similar to my own experience that drove me to look for something better. I hope you'll find some direction here, as I have.

If you have a 'drinking problem" in the AIRPLANE! sense, you might switch to caffeinated water.
