Some pictures and a contact number.

Few have heard of this shoemaker in England. The article mentions him as the best, but I do not think the author has a pair bespoken for him yet. Not sure if Nick Foulkes has had experience with other shoemakers, but a comparison would be nice.

He's a luxury goods writer -- Eric Cook is one of the few makers or brands whom he recommends for whom it doesn't seem he's accepting a PR stipend. Recently Foulkes has written vanity histories of Turnbull & Asser, Mikimoto, and teh Carlyle, and is very effusive about Rubinacci and Charvet. I think he has bespoke shoes from Cleverley too, not sure... he is a fran of EG and Berluti.

Cook is legendary for endless delivery times and for being impossible to find. I have seen samples of the shoes, and they do look very nice, but not (to me) in a different league from the other London makers. IMO, to do qualitatively better than London, you have to go to Paris.
