We have a little bit more fabric, but I believe that most of that's spoken for with special orders in XS. My apologies, that particular shirt went out like gangbusters.

Hey Mike, regarding the cream chambray... If there are any scraps of fabric left over for another size Medium or two you would definitely have me and trig on an "invoice me" list. Please keep us posted if there is any chance you could squeeze it.

Thanks for the tip! I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered a pair of their slim walt regiment twill trousers in cloud. I'm really hoping that they'll fit right (minus the length) out-of-the-box so to speak. I absolutely love the fact that these are made in the USA. Between discovering these and Allen Edmonds I'm stoked that it is possible to look good in American clothing. Really, really, hope these will work out.

Hey guys- well my trousers (mentioned above) arrived today. What can I say that hasn't been said? They are fantastic. The fit is perfect (except for the length) and the quality is just out of this world. I've currently got the extra length (7 or 8") folded up inside the leg so I can wear them around the house to test them. I'm sorry I don't have time to post some pictures but I did have one question. I searched and couldn't find a good answer. These pants are marked as dry-clean only, can I hand wash or gentle wash them to soften them up? Maybe with some fabric softener? Right now they are a little stiff. Thanks in advance for any tips.

I've got a pair of Regiment Walts in cloud coming tomorrow. It'll be my 5th pair of Walts and I'm looking forward to it.

Regarding your question, Mike has confirmed in this thread that all Epaulet cotton trousers are machine washable. They just couldn't get the factory to not put the "Dry Clean Only" tags in the cotton trousers. So you can hand wash or machine wash them. I've machine washed my cotton Walts with no issues at all.

I miss the Epaulet jeans too, boo hoo. I have two pairs but they won't last forever. Another (cheaper) alternative is the Uniqlo Made in Japan slim fit -

As mentioned, machine washing is fine with Mike's cotton trousers, but I would recommend against using fabric softener on any fine garment (softeners are surfactants that degrade fabrics). After a wear or two, the fabric will soften right up.

Make sure to hang them dry -- don't tumble dry.

Here's another post mourning the loss of EP's denim. Still, I'm happy to have snagged a pair of the Japanese models while they were still around! Honestly, the most comfortable jeans of all time.

So I just received my black rivet chinos... a little concerned with the new buttons as I feel like one of them is going to pop off. Additionally, I feel like the waist is a lot smaller or else I've gotten really fat. I have probably 5-6 pairs of rivet chinos in size 32, but I can't fully button the new ones no matter how hard I ******* gut in... Should I have sized up?

Yeah I would size up 2 actually and would have them taken out if you need to... That's what I did going from 31 to 33 on the new chino's and it's worked out great.

Also, you may have a new customer, one of my colleagues was teaching in my room, tore open his pants on a loose piece of metal on my wall, and had a class of 8th graders make fun of him for 45 minutes...I told him my chinos have caught the same chunk and never came close to a tear...:)

Black Chinos and my two Epaulet Shirts arrived today, and I must say Mike and company are just doing a phenomenal job as always.
