New York, you've been on a shopping spree. I guess teacher's are making 6 figures in the USA.. Meanwhile in Ontario they are freezing teacher's pay for the next 2 years. :censored:

Almost 6 figures...we've not been frozen but no new contract for almost 3 years now. I do get longevity raises every year. I also have an account with some forced savings that i can collect twice a year from which is a nice windfall for me (and Epaulet lately!)

    Yo Mike-
Just noticed the SS Lavender Chambray. Any chance we could get this in a LS version?

    Attention Rudy Guy's

To make things easier for all of us, we've added a Rudy Pre-order section to the site.

There is a selection of quite a few fabric's that we've brought in so far for S/S. Some of them we have a lot of extra in, some not so much. Ordering is easier than ever though!

We'll be doing this every month and we'll change out the item's as time goes by/things sell out/we get more product in. The lead time will be 4-6 weeks and we'll get your special order shipped out with a quickness!

The trouser's will come with a 36" unfinished hem to make things easier for some of you that need a little extra length. As with any special order, they will be FINAL SALE.

Deadline is 12AM EST Sunday April 8th. Delivery will be in early May.

After this, special order's will be put up again at the end of April for an early June delivery. So if you want something, it's better to order now rather than later.

We're happy to do this for you guy's and it's worked out very well so far! Enjoy!

Sweet. Great idea Matt. On that, I just got my special order wool grey glen plaid trousers Back from my tailor today. Cannot wait to wear them tomorrow with my new Caine blazer as well.

Oh yes, it's on our site - we're going to drop a newsletter tomorrow. It's not exclusive to Styleforum, but this is going to be how we handle Rudy special orders from here on in.

Once a month, we'll build out items online for all of the available fabrics and anyone interested can order during that time frame. We'll then submit the orders as a block and get delivery in about four weeks.

Previously we handled every Rudy special order on an individual basis (customer PM's Matt, Matt invoices them, customer pays invoice, pant is ordered, etc) but this is quicker and faster for everyone. And this way you guys can see the full lineup of what's available. We'll only accept trouser special orders during this monthly window.

And to Walt guys - if you see a Rudy pant fabric that you like and is sold out in your size, then feel free to PM and we can special-order you a Walt pant if we're not intending to restock it. For example, I might not restock a trouser if we have every size except for size 28. So if you're a 28, you can special order something in your size if we still have cloth available.

I just want to chime in on the quality of Epaulet's customer service. It's not enough that their baseline level of cs is already a 10, but they recently went above and beyond what was reasonable required on one of my orders.

Also, I am blown away on the fit of their suit jackets--unbelievable for something that is "off the rack".

Also I asked this a couple times but I don't think I saw a response. Someone in the Alden thread posted some navy suede chukkas and mentioned that they were from Epaulet back in 2010. Any chance you will ever restock these and possibly offer a pre-order so that I can get this shoe in my weird narrow size?

Those look great. An ideal chino, I think. I note you've hemmed these rather than rolling them up.

Thanks, yea, I did hem all of my older rivets. I'm satisfied after a few washes that all the shrink is out, and now have a nice clean option if I ever want/need it.
