This is me in a size Small 19th Century BD from the current season. This is my normal size. I can't fit XS due to the shoulders being too tight and the sleeves too short. The 19th BD always fits a little long, but I've grown used to, and if you tuck it in, then you won't notice it. Like El QUaG says I would go true to size.
Hi can I ask which converse these are?

@deeman
They are the NHBD x Converse joints that came out a few years back.
Still going strong. Unlike my normal 70's Cons which only lasted three months before the toe box split from the rubber toe cap!

can someone describe nyco twill to me?

As I'm sure you know, NYCO is the abbreviation of Nylon / Cotton.

Twill is the method in which these two fibers are woven. Most likely the nylon runs the Weft (the vertical length of the loom) and the cotton fills the Warp (horizontal width of the loom) This method intertwines and loops around the Weft to create the horizontal twill (which is like Faille)

The material has enduring qualities and withstands wrinkling unlike pure cotton. Withstands laundering in warmer water and drys at a low setting with much need for ironing.
It has a substantial water repelling quality unlike pure cotton

The material has been used for military issue clothing for years

My earliest recollection of its use was in the 60's when my enthusiasm for mountaineering forced me to invest in proper clothing for above tree line. A lot of my gear at that time came from a brand called Class Five which made the best mountain parka money could buy.

Just had the light Parka in from Kafka , in dark navy , and certainly is light ..
Large I had, just over 23" pitpit, sleeves a tad short, but nothing to worry about ..
They are nice ..

Really want the parka from this season, but is it redundant if I already have the fw16 field parka? </firstworldproblems>
