1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Great cut...

The body positioning might actually accentuate it..

wooow......now that is a DB suit.....

Sorry if I am dense and am missing the obvious answer but who is the tailor for that?

And BN Tailor makes very nicely cut suits, I think.

Particularly like the cut of the trousers. Of course I love that color and cloth, that in a DB is a perfect and little known classic.

The double-breasted 6x1 is really very special. Who likes to dress should have in their wardrobe. In fact, Gianni Agnelli and Loro Piana if they were all so do. And even without slits behind.

I was always wondering what that was called. My first DB was a vintage one and I thought it was strange with the button placement.

Choreographer George Balanchine. Not sure when the picture was taken; I printscreened it from a programme with Darcey Bussell currently available on BBC iPlayer.

Of course you're right ... although in some cases the past was better than the present. Once in Italy the downtown streets of the city were perennial fashion shows but now is not so unfortunately.

Sure ... and in those years there were not even the companies that produce clothing on size. Everyone went by tailors!

    Au contraire , mon Ami...

People used to have one decent suit for special occasions and Church Sundays.
