How would you describe the feel of the wool-mohair blend? Is it soft like cashmere or more crisp like fresco?
I don't have Fresco with which to compare, but I have a DB Ring Jacket suit in Dormeuil Brio, which is a 54% mohair-46% wool blend. I describe it as crispety-crispety, sexy-sexy.

It depends on what kind of mohair you are looking at. In these pictures I am wearing one that I'd describe as lux-fresco - same crispiness but with more sheen.

You'll also find mohair that's weaved in plain weave, too. That'll be softer and smoother than what I am wearing. I do not think you'll ever find mohair that's as smooth as cashmere, however.

Sir Arthur Rostron wearing perhaps the heaviest coat known to man :D

I've got one of those old overcoats at home. A pre 1924 Saks & Co (before they moved to Saks 5th Avenue)

It's bulletproof with a double faced cloth. It's heavy and ready for Blizzards in NYC which I imagine were cold and tough.
