I've moved into a 1 bedroom furnished college apartment. It's a POS apartment filled with POS furniture from the 80's. Couch has a sandpaper feeling fabric, and there's a fabric matching chair with the same thing, both have rips and are missing a leg so they wobble when you sit on them. The Place was last remodeled/updated in the late 70's or early 80's. I want to buy a king size bed sheet to cover the couch and chair, but don't know what the best color would be.

The colors of the room:
Carpet: Grey/Red motel looking carpet
Walls: Coffee/Brown
Trim: Brown 80's Wood

What color should I get to make it feel more like "Home" instead of a ****** motel feeling. I don't have a budget to buy new or used furniture, a bedsheet or cloth to throw over the furniture is gonna have to work.
