It’s very cool that SF and @Carmina are doing this, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the group picks. I might not participate (I’m still pretty disgruntled after a very late AND sloppy job on my last custom order, with Carmina telling me it’s within spec) but support the idea.

A couple of people mentioned the Calway, and if I intended to participate I would lean toward this model. I would also tend to want leathers that were hard to find elsewhere. As it happens, I’m wearing one of my favorite custom orders today - Calways with Russian calf and a polo suede shaft (Oscar). I offer it for consideration if others like it.

Hi,

While I am just a facilitator (aka peon) in this, my understanding is that @Carmina in consultation with me and the community, will up some makeups for consideration, we will vote for the winner, and then there will be a preorder period, usually 15 days! There will be a special stamp and shoetrees as well as the waived MTO fee.

We are working behind the scenes to make this a success!
