Sorry, I only have a pair of the Jumper boots (which I'm actually wearing today). But they don't feel particularly spacious in the instep to me. Certainly lower than Rain, which I need to wear a tongue pad in if I go with the same size as Oscar.

Thanks, that sounds basically consistent with the ptbs, which are about as close fitting as I can manage while still being absolutely comfortable. I'd rather a tad more space on a boot ideally.

Would you like to be signed up for the amaretto GMTO or to be notified when we receive colour 4 for a future group?

Carmina, I am already on the list for the amaretto GMTO, but if there's a list in the future for a Color 4 GMTO, please add me to that one, as well. Thank you very much.

Does anyone here have both an Oscar and Forest pair (pref PTBs, but anything will do for comparison)? I have several Forest shoes, which fit well at 9.5 UK. I worry that if Oscar is longer than Forest, 9.5 UK may be too long; and I worry that if Oscar is any narrower than Forest in the ball, it may be too narrow at any size. Anyone able to comment on Oscar vs Forest length and width? Thanks!

I have only tried on Forest so perhaps others can comment with more authority. I couldn't even get my foot into Forest in my Oscar size without moving up to EEE. I'd think Oscar would be fine for you in the same size as Forest. I dont find Oscar runs long either.

Regarding sizing advice for this amaretto MTO: I have generally high volume feet compared to actual footprint. Measured on Brannock I am only 10.5E, but I have had many issues due to high instep and requiring room in the toe box. As a comparison point, I don't quite fit into MM GATs or Common Projects Achilles Lows in 44 due to limited toe space, both vertically and horizontally, but 45 is a bit long for me.

For boot comparisons, I comfortably wear RM Williams Comfort Craftsmen in H width, size 44EU/11US. My Wolverine 1000 Miles are a 10.5US, D width and are a bit snug around the foot (I nearly run out of shoelace when tying them up) but cause no pain or difficulties.

I was thinking of doing 80277 on EE width Llubi, size 9.5UK.

So last year around this time I remember a few promotions, I think the first one was a free matching belt to every shoe ordered and the next one was a waved mto fee.
What's your guess? Will there be any similar promotions soon? I already have quite a few pairs and am in no hurry, but as most of us I'd be interested in a few more...

For the Amaretto GMTO I believe I have moved from the Frankenstitch jumper to a wingtip boot on the Oscar last with polished brass hardware, flat welt wheeling (46 HC), and chestnut or brown edge (lean chestnut). I am leaning towards the York sole for a little more versatility for formal or informal occasions, but any other suggestions? Dainite?

York sole is nice, wears well, looks good, and comfortable. Should be a good fit for that boot. I have a Forest last wingtip with York and after 6 years of wear the sole is great and just had the heel replaced once.

They'll probably do something for Black Friday but I wouldn't expect anything before then. I know one year they waived the MTO fee for Black Friday but I don't remember if they did that last year.

yep, me too.
Black friday is a loong way to go. I'm pretty sure they did something earlier last year - however, that doesn't mean anything for this year.Guess only carmina knows and we'll have to wait

You can customize the following (same model number). You'll need to specify you want fur lining and Amaretto cordovan in comment box. Guessing there is a surcharge for fur lining since it's not a complementary option available via customization tool.

Much appreciated @flylikeneagle but that adds a few hundred to the cost before I even get to the lining. I'm going to DM @Carmina and see if I can figure this out. If not, at least there remains enough people to do the MTO.
