My Carlos Santos johdpur arrived today from the UK. I've been seriously considering this style of boot and it's been growing on me, and should fit nicely alongside my chelseas. I have CS chelsea boots in their 'braga' patina, so I saw the 'bosco' patina on this model, and was sold. I love the color hue that shifts from a darker tone, to this nice olive color in direct light.

The small details are also welcome, like a slightly bevelled waist as shown, to the fact they do a nice color stain on their soles. CS is constantly punching above their weight class in quality for the money, and I'm impressed with this boot overall.

I enjoyed this viewing this thread with all the high end boots postings. I have mostly plebeian work boots from AE and Grant Stone. I will cross post some vintage dress boots to add some variety since I don't see many vintage boots posted.
